Live Raptor Presentations!!
Mark Booth from Take Flight! Wildlife Education will be giving raptor demonstrations at 12:00pm and 2:30pm in room 138 (1st floor) as well as an outdoor evening presentation at Dobbs Park at 6:30. Hawks, falcons, and owls will be featured. (Programs last 1 hour)
Musical Mark!!
Musical Mark will be entertaining all age groups with songs about bats including “Bat Bop Boogie”, “Count Batula”, and “Got Guano.” Daytime performances will be at 11:30am and 1:30pm in room 297. He will also be performing at the picnic at Dobbs Park.

Evening Events at Dobbs Park
6PM to 9PM Picnic at Dobbs A vendor cart with many items to choose from including hamburgers, veggie
burgers, taco in a bag, nachos supreme, hot dogs, BBQ pork (with chips and pickle), and lemon shake-ups will be present as well as a stand selling homemade ice cream.
8PM to 10PM Bat Research Night Learn how bat scientists study bats in Indiana.

Receive an activity/coloring book and make a bat clip magnet.

Get a batty design painted on your cheek or hand.
6:00pm - 8:30pm - Kids’ Netting Demos - Located near the front shelters
This activity is designed to allow kids to try their hand at bat research. Using a stuffed bat, they will be able to take it out of the net, weigh and measure it, and fill out a data sheet just like bat biologists do in the field.
